The weekly order fill rate is a metric that measures the percentage of customer orders that are accurately and completely fulfilled within a specific week. It provides insights into the efficiency and effectiveness of order fulfillment operations over a weekly time frame.

To calculate the weekly order fill rate, you would divide the number of complete and accurate customer orders fulfilled during the week by the total number of customer orders received in the same week, and then multiply the result by 100 to express it as a percentage.

Weekly Order Fill Rate = (Number of Complete and Accurate Orders Fulfilled in the Week / Total Number of Orders Received in the Week) x 100
For example, if a company received 200 customer orders in a week and successfully fulfilled 180 of them accurately and completely, the weekly order fill rate would be:
    Weekly Order Fill Rate = (180 / 200) x 100 = 90%

The median picks per day per user is a statistical measure that represents the middle value of the distribution of daily picking activity in a warehouse or fulfillment center. It indicates the number of items or products that are typically picked from the warehouse during a period of time.
To calculate the median picks , you would collect the number of picks recorded for a given amount of time, arrange these daily pick counts in ascending order and find the middle value. If there is an odd number of daily pick counts, the median is the value exactly in the middle. If there is an even number of daily pick counts, the median is the average of the two middle values.
The median picks per day is a useful metric for understanding the typical level of picking activity in a warehouse, especially when there may be extreme values (high or low) that could skew the average. It provides a representative value that helps warehouse managers and planners make informed decisions regarding resource allocation, staffing, and process improvements to efficiently handle the expected picking workload.
